The Unique College Experience

Life as a student in the U.S. is not comparable to studying in Germany, since a large part of it takes place directly on the university campus, especially at the beginning.

COLLEGE HOUSING

In the first year, all freshmen live in dorms on campus, which means they spend a lot of time together. This way, everyone gets to know each other within a short period of time and students from other countries also quickly find connections. Later, there is the possibility to live off-campus, i.e. outside the university campus in a small apartment or with other students in a shared apartment.

ON CAMPUS

All classrooms of the study programs, additional study areas, fitness center for students and the cafeteria are located on the campus. Additionally, most of the college teams’ athletic facilities are located on campus as well, which means there is always a team playing on the weekends and often during the week.

STUDENT LIFE

The universities and often the individual dorms as well have a full calendar of events each semester. You can go to movie nights with popcorn, participate in various sports leagues, join trips to major events or travel over the weekend with other students.

GLOBAL COMMUNITY

Meet people from all over the world and learn about new cultures. Schools often have international clubs to foster those connections. This takes not only your English to the next level, but also creates friendships for life.

Scholarships are financial aid funds awarded by U.S. colleges directly to selected students. A scholarship allows you to study in the US despite high tuition fees. Unlike many government grants to finance a course of study, you do not have to repay this financial aid. Academic scholarship amounts vary from college to college and case to case. Often, they are given out on first come, first serve. Our goal is to find the right college within your budget, so applying early not only increases your chances of getting a place at the college of your choice, but can also save you a lot of money!
